OPEN WORKSHOP

Creative writing workshop: Connecting words – on the city of refuge Berlin

SATURDAY, 1 JUNE 2024, 2 – 5 PM

Thoughts, inspiration and personal experiences on the topic of Berlin as a place of refuge will be our focus in June. Together, we will explore the exhibition spaces from this perspective and then take pen in hand ourselves, allowing "our" Berlin to take shape in stories, poems or even just short fragments. Words become bridges between different languages, stories and biographies. The writing workshop offers a creative space for people who like to experiment with words and language.

The writing workshop will be held in German, English and Polish, and participants can write in the language of their choice.

Workshop leaders: Natalie Wasserman and Karolina Kuszyk

A cooperation with the Documentation Centre for Displacement, Expulsion, Reconciliation and the Polish Language Café.
