Us and Them: Belonging, Exclusion and Forced Migration

How do affiliations influence our identity? What is external attribution? How and why are minorities marginalised? What mechanisms lead to displacement and expulsion? Using historical examples, we will examine the causes of forced migration and its consequences for those affected in various workshop modules. In doing so, we integrate current social challenges and debates on the topic.
